Department of Commerce is running four courses i.e. B.Com (General), B.Com. (Honors), B.Com. (Vocational) and M.Com.

B.Com

About the Course:

B.Com (General)

Duration: B.Com (General) is a 3 years full time course.

B.Com (HONORS)

Duration: B.Com (HONORS) is a 3 years full-time course with Specialization in Accounting/Finance/HR/Marketing

B.Com (Vocational)

Duration: B.Com (Vocational) is a 3 years full-time course with Specialization in Tax Procedure and Practices.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Com (General/Honors/Vocational) 1st and 2nd Semester

A person who has passed anyone of the following examination with English as one of the subjects shall be eligible to join the 1st semester of the Bachelor of Commerce class (General/ Vocational/Honors):-

  • Senior secondary certificate examination (10+2 standard) of board of school education, Haryana
  • An examination recognized by the academic council as equivalent thereto with at least 40% marks in the commerce group or 50% marks in non-commerce group (Humanities and Science).

M.Com

Duration: M.Com is a 2 years full time course with Dual Specialization (Accounting-Finance or Marketing-HR)

Eligibility Criteria

M.Com 1st and 2nd Semester

A person who has passed anyone of the following examination with English as one of the subjects shall be eligible to join the 1st semester of the Bachelor of Commerce class (General/ Vocational/Honors) :-

  • Com/BBA/BTM/BIM/ BA/B.Sc with Economics/Mathematics with 45% Marks

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

Can pursue your higher studies like

  • Master in Philosophy (M.Phil.)
  • Doctorate in  Philosophy (Ph.D)

In case you are unwilling/ unable to pursue studies further, you can go for jobs in Government/ Private sector as in:
